Big Blow for Hammers!!

Earlier in the week West Ham United confirmed that Valon Behrami would be out for about 6 months with an anterior cruciate ligament injury in his right knee. This is a massive blow for the hammers and today the news for West Ham’s midfield department just got worse. Jack Collison has been ruled out for about six to seven weeks with a dislocated knee cap.

Jack Collison suffered an injury that looked as though it was just as bad as Valon Behrami’s, just one game beforehand. He landed badly after beautifully controlling a long ball off his chest. His knee gave in underneath him and he bounced back up and it looked horrible. However the good news is that he can possibly still play a large part in the last part of the season.

The young hammer, along with Behrami, has been a huge driving force in West Ham’s attack fot European football and this has been shown with the three goals that he has scored already this season. Hopefully we can pull through the next six to seven weeks without too much trouble. However, these two injuries can hopefully give Savio a chance to start and this is a small siver lining in a very dark cloud!
