Relegation Dog Fight

This Saturday could make or break our season, going away up North isn’t going to be easy but it’s a must win game.

After losing the last two games by a 1-0 score line, hasn’t done any favours for AFC Bournemouth in their battle against relegation.

Going away to relegation rivals Barnet wasn’t expected to bring home the points but there was some hope against league leaders Brentford, after all they were down to ten men for most of the second half.

After seeing the fans of Luton Town go down after all those years in the football league, makes you feel the next two games will define Bournemouth’s history for years to come.

The cherries face Chester away a team who has faced difficulty this season, the team who are in the relegation spot to go down. One point away from Bournemouth, the Chester team will be also putting in the blood, sweat and tears for the right to stay in the football league.

The next game will be just as tense as a home game against Grimsby, the team who is one place below the red and blacks and one place above Chester.

With the Luton fans facing an uncertain financial future and the question asked whether they can come straight back up? As a Bournemouth loyal fan I certainly don’t want to be contemplating that over the summer break.

With every point up for place and every goal up all that important, I pray that Bournemouth will be on the right side of the relegation line come 5pm on May 2nd.
