Palmeiras’ president, Traffic directors and Vanderlei Luxemburgo had a meeting last week and decided to work on the “Keirrisson Project“, which means not seeling the striker this year, just in the summer transfer window of 2010.

Even being a promise, Keirrison surpassed all expectations in the two months in Palmeiras. Thats why Luxemburgo called Traffic directors (the company who ows the player’s rights) to convince them that, in one more year, Keirrison will be the best player in the country.
Traffic directors joined the project: they expected an offer of €15MI in june, but they think now, with Keirrison’s performance, that tehy can sell the player for a value around €35MI in 2010 – after the World Cup.
There’s a long way to that market value: scoring will not be enought – tha palyer will need a competitive team, titles, and the nomination for the National Team, specially in World Cup 2010. He has never been nominated.
The good news of Keirrison’s stay may come with bad prospects: it’s hard to know how Traffic will handle the situation, and they mey be thinking about selling others players, as Diego Souza, Cleiton Xavier, Marquinhos or Willians, or all of them – and then Keirrison will not be able to do a miracle alone.
But, as thinks goes, the Keirrison Project is very good news.
