Blackburn Rovers

Two games of one half this weekend

Rovers completed the recent tournament, this weekend, with two games which lasted 45 minutes each, back to back.

First up were Nacional, the half finished 0-0, not a lot happened, Rovers fielded this 11: Brown, Jacobsen, Samba, Khizanishvilli, Olsson, Judge, Andrews, N’Zonzi, Treacy, McCarthy & Gallagher.

For the second half and second opposition Rovers lined up: Robinson, Andrews, Nelsen, Givet, Olsson, Doran, Diouf, Dunn, Pedersen, McCarthy & Roberts. Which meant only Olsson and McCarthy started both halves.

The game against Hajduk Split finished 1-0 to the Croats, the goal was scored by Ibricic, who is a player that who has supposedly been watched in the past by Rovers.

The main worry about the games today, was the lack of chances that we managed to create. Yes it is all about fitness, which Hajduk seemed to have more of, but their season does start next week so it is to be expected.

The players have a week of training at Brockhall now, before taking on Leeds, on Friday I think it is. Hopefully have some more news before then, maybe even some more transfer activity, if Crouch moves to Sunderland, could set some wheels in motion.
